A rare but good thing seeing Tess in her natural environment: Out with the Moon, tending her territory - home for a cat, whether on two legs or four. It is also good seeing the experimentation in tuning her fine features, with the - for a house cat - more naturally sized and slightly more defined rhinarium. The same goes for the overall anthro anatomy with the position of the tail root, a little lower than commonly seen on anthro characters, but closer to the tail bone on humans.
She wears the jacket well - it is quite an exquisite design, and the creases and peaks display the sturdiness of the material well. Also probably a good decision going with the coarser bomber design. As polished leather is rather specular, even small curves in the material greatly affect the shading - pretty much no such problems here. The unbroken lit strip along the proper right arm seems to make the elbow lose some of its emphasis, but am not certain if that is due to the lighting or the jacket details: As the curves of the cuffs and the straps differ, it is difficult to tell the direction. The small creases on the left side of the bust, towards the button, also make her torso appear quite shallow as they move the peak of the breast closer to the side of the ribcage.
Lastly, a purely personal opinion, do immensely appreciate seeing a fantasy mechanic character carrying a plain adjustable wrench.
Well done.

The face is an improvement I think. I'm experimenting and struggling to find a good compromise between a closer to life cat head and something that is too cartoon like

Aye, the new proportions of the nose and the space between the ears are definitely an improvement towards a live cat. It has some other effects as well, such as changing the silhouette of the head as the head hair connects and falls differently.
But it could also be that her hair is slightly shorter and more upswept here, ending closer to the brow than usually seen.

I'm just super inconsistent. I like to think that is because I'm always trying to improve something but who knows. I hope I am not deluding or fooling myself but I think that in the many variations that exist now, that Tess's design is still very "Tess".
