Two weeks back, a dear friend of mine suggested me to watch a clip on YouTube which introduced me to the world of Hazbin Hotel, an animated web series in the making and its trailer, but most of all the clips as little teasers have done it for me. I can't say to ever be as hooked with something indie-generated, a world that fits all the heart, passion and smart ideas of animators, voice actors and - of course - content creators like Vivienne Medrano whose characters really breathe creativity and smart design.

Naturally, a good cartoon lives off of its characters and here, I like all of them, but one especially; Angel Dust. Not particularly the way he looks, though he is quite an eye catcher, ain't he? No, more his character per se. The way he lives the moment, in a cynical, liberate and promiscuous way... seriously, I thought only I would come up with a word as outdated as that!
As I was analyzing the clips frame by frame to interpret the style and fluidness of this character, I quickly realized how superb the animation quality and the dedication to detail is. One being implemented here as well; the stark contrasty background, which reminds me on the style the powepuff girls had their background painted i... just so much better done here!
I can't wait to seeing more of it, 'til then I'll sit here, impatiently, hoping that I could at least gives this some more well deserved attention with my small homage to Hazbin Hotel.

I see you're aware of the coming show "Hazbin Hotel". It looks SO COOL, and like you said the style and movement of the characters feels so detailed (Especially its background). I simply cannot wait until it comes out^^

I watched those clips multiple times now and I just kept noticing new planes of awesomeness it has to it! I would love to have this an episodic series so I can consume every episode enough until the new one comes out :3
Though I don't have any clue how long those episodes will be and how many of them will be released. Given that this is a web series and the ydon't have many animators on there, I can assume it will either take a lot more time than I hoped it would... or it will be significantly shorter than I hope either. What's your guess on it and what's your favourite character in the show?

You can tell the amount of effort and detail they put into this project! The whole thing is so nice to look at, and the plot of the show is pretty interesting (The whole redemption thing)^^. I hope its an actual series that succeeds! Also, I think the channel is so underrated, so hopefully the show can help them gain more love and recognition^^.
I've hears it's going to be 20 minutes long (Maybe per episode?).
I think I like Angle Dust and the radio demon the most so far :3.

Indeed, I've listened to one of those animation cleanup streams with Michael Kovach in it and the ones with Angels inofficial voice actor as well, and I can say both are doing a really darn good job with their role (Seth Atkinson being somewhat more entertaining actually :3 )
