Sort of by popular demand, I finally got around to doing a heavy horse unicorn, in this case based on a breyer paddock pals Clydesdale. He's 6.5" long, and has had his head completely resculpted, the feathers resculpted, and has been filled with resin so as to be completely solid (I hate the cheap feeling of a hollow see-through breyer)
He weighs 5.5 oz. I love that weighty feeling!
Painted in the usual mix. Pastel, acrylic, pencil, enamel.

Just a suggestion, But maybe some more in -the-elements sorta shots would be interesting rather than the same all of the time if you get what I mean ;]

you mean like, with different natural settings? I used to do that more, you can probably see in my older sculptures, and while I still do it sometimes it's really hard to get it just right as to where it will emphasize the sculpture rather than make it look lost. I cultivate a certain patch of moss for it in the summer months, but in winter I'm pretty limited. It honestly just depends on what the weather conditions are on the day I decide to take a picture.

It's kind of a contrast making n unicorn out of a heavy horse... I like it!
I love how the mane looks in this picture, it adds movement to the piece
