I love taking snow pictures, so I went out with my pentax and leica and a unicorn and took a bunch of photos.

I use 12 gauge steel wire. I build a basic frame - one piece going from the tail to horn, one for the front legs and one for the back. Then I take more wire and wrap it over and over around the frame until it's quite solid. Then I wrap that in tightly compacted foil and cover that in either floral tape or a non-porous surface glue.
