Years later, he crash-landed onto Earth where he was adopted by rich millionaire parents. When he turns 10, his parents are murdered and he took over his family estate. When he turns 18, he decides to become a vigilante to fight criminals as a way to avenge his parents' deaths. Then, one night, he was bitten by a radioactive spider that gives him web-slinging and wall-climbing abilities. One day, the US military were amazed by his abilities and decides to enlist him into the US super-soldier program which made him muscular and transform into the ultimate All-American hero.
Okay, he was just kidding...
Eliot is born in San Francisco to an average American family living in the city. He grew up to love playing baseball and American football and would dream of being an athlete. Sadly, one day, he has gotten a knee injury during football practice and the school doctor says he can never play sports again. This saddens Eliot and changed his personality. As a young adult, he gets involved in street racing and eventually, car theft. When his parents found out that he has been involved in such activities, Eliot runs away from home and leaves San Francisco. One night, while sitting at the beach drinking a bottle of beer, Eliot heard an explosion behind him. Eliot quickly drives to the area where the explosion happened and it came from a van which has crashed into a tree. The driver didn't survive the crash. Eliot decides to investigate the back of the van and learns it was carrying containers of ooze. A droplet of ooze drips onto his body which instantly gives him superhuman strength which also helps recovers his bad knee. He passes out upon leaving the van. When he wakes up in a local hospital the next morning, Eliot was discharged by the doctors who are surprised that he fully recovered within just eight hours. When he leaves the hospital, Eliot realizes he had a feeling which he never experienced in a long time since the tragic day he injured his knee. Having that great feeling again, Eliot spends the rest of the day trying out his new body and strength, even running all the way back to San Francisco by himself without any sort of transportation. When he returned to the city later that night, he encounters an armed bank robbery where many of the bankers are being held hostages. Eliot realizes that the bank robbers were his old street racing 'friends' and tries to persuade them to lower their guns and surrender themselves to the authorities. However, one of them fires his gun at Eliot's arm. But then Eliot realizes that the shot didn't hurt his arm at all and his body still remains unharmed. Nevertheless, this angers Eliot and uses his new strength to take out his old 'friends'. After they were taken out, the police and the now freed bankers applauded Eliot for his actions. He then returns back to his parents, apologizes to them and his parents accepted him into the household again. Since then, Eliot decides to travel around the world as a journey to turn himself into a new leaf, use his new superhuman strength for good and revives his love for American sports and patriotism for his country. During his journey, he eventually meets Amelia Greenleaf and becomes friends with her. When Darren and Alicia ask Eliot how he became so strong, Eliot answers that he got his powers from containers of ooze and when they gave him confused looks in return, he immediately follows by saying "What? You don't believe me? That's okay. Because I was drunk that night."
