I prefer them oldschool. New School adult CareBear's shadowing is spiky and razorsharp (WHATWHY) and the new show has them as dwarven babies... I liked older, chubby bears, they just looked more comforting than tiny skinny bears.
Maybe it's just me.

I totally agree. The new ones are an ok style as their own entity but it doesn't really scream care bear.

I think the newer Care Bears are sized and shaped for us to care for THEM. Older Care Bears were shaped to care for YOU.
