Im sorry to keep boring you with WIPs, but I actually really like putting up WIPs
Buuuut, if you do think I should stop let me know, I don't want to annoy you guys!But anyway, Mozarttis feet are done! I love her paw pads, I love it when cats have paw pads with different splots of colour, and I couldn't resist here
Also, does anyone have any advice on a good varnish for paint? Im using humbrol matt and gloss cote, but Im not a huge fan, it just has a couple of problems. If anyone knows of a good one, Id appreciate your advice

Hi!
I have tried to make these myself but you just blow me out of the water! I love how the fur is so meticulously detailed and the face is beautifully structured.
The only thing I would suggest to improve your pieces would be to use glass eyes. You've done a great job at painting them, but glass eyes give sculptures that 'pop' of realism that painting can't quite get to. There's a lot of cheap options on ebay and etsy that might work. I know everyone I bought from were quick shippers and good materials.

All the stuff I need but I could use some tips!
I can see you put a bulb or something on the end of the legs, what about the back of the head? And how do you stick them to the fur? Glue I'm guessing?
Oh and what do you stuff them with, and do you need to put something heavy in them so the head won't be to top heavy?
Any help would be much appreciated.

I actually remove the bulb once the clay is varnished, its just so the pieces stand up so they can dry. The head is normally hollow, or if materials permit, Ill build it straight onto the armature. And yep, I use really strong hot glue to attach the fur to the clay.
I stuff mine with normal cuddly toy stuffing. Well, these ones don't have a full armature, so a heavy head doesn't matter. For a fully armatured doll, I would make the tail heavy to even out the weight distribution.

One of the set is Β£55GBP, a very similar one that you have an input on the design (different markings etc) would be Β£60, and if you wanted something very different, we'd figure out a price depending, but probably around Β£70

And yeah, Im generally pretty happy to reserve things for however long. I mean, if its ages Ill sometimes see if they can pay half initially, and the other half later, but I get that some people just wont have the money for a while. So yeah, whatevers good!
