the first time i looked at it, it kinda scared me
the angle and the lighting are wonderful
the overall atmosphere of the photo, in my opinion, is kinda,sorta,maybe, scary

This is such an awesome photo! Is that the moonlight or street light? It gives the picture an eery effect and your dress is perfect for this shot. Very nice!

very eary. A great job.

The angle is very cool.
I just wonder though what it would look like more vertical with a much tighter shot on the figure. Still, a great job

oh good CHRIST that is awesome. the lighting is what really makes it, but I also love the angle. and the girl (you?) is in the perfect place, and wearing the perfect dress. the way her face is entirely in shadow is fantastic.

the light and the contrast are great... the angle is "freaky" (wish means good) but... is that a dish antenna? sorry... but it distract the viewer... anyway, it is a great shot

haha, yeah. unfortunately things like cannot always be helped. i thought about trying to edit it out, but in a way it works. its bland and mediocre which is really what the poem is about.

yes yes, though it was taken at night, so the light is moonlight + a tree light, long exposure to soak it all up.

first lets start with the poem;

the poem belongs to Wallace Stevens, an amazing poet, and it goes;

The houses are haunted
By white night-gowns.
None are green,
Or purple with green rings,
Or green with yellow rings,
Or yellow with blue rings.
None of them are strange,
With socks of lace
And beaded ceintures.
People are not going
To dream of baboons and periwinkles.
Only, here and there, an old sailor,
Drunk and asleep in his boots,
Catches tigers
In red weather.

I think the poem totally suits this picture.

I love your angle, i love your contrast, i love your composition... would you like me to continue? It's a very very well done photo. Amazing!
