Well I'm back! Time for a classic hero shot Supergirl. As all you Man of Steel fans know, I stole the line from the movie. I figure though, if anyone can share the Big Blue Boyscout's destiny, its Kara Zor-El. As for the art, I tried a little bit of a new technique. I still did my digital inking but I tried coloring the inks to match the colors they were adjacent to which kind of made the lines disappear. Kind of a more realistic effect. Comments and critiques are greatly appreciated!Related content

This is great has always but I can see that your skills have improved just since I started watching you. the hair the eyes and the face look better then ever.
I love her outfit although personally I would have made her skirt red and her cap seems a little awkward but that is reality, it isn't always going to be in that picture perfect angle.
the work you did on the clouds and the sunlight is just fantastic and by adding wrinkles in her cloths you have added another element of reality that most comics seem to miss.
In short my friend I love it.

The only thing that would have made this even more perfect would have been to not include the dreaded New 52 logo. I'm SO upset with DC for this whole fiasco...I still have faint hope that something will correct it someday and the pre-New 52 universe, the DCU that stood for 70+years, will return. Until then, the only comic I can even buy from that company is the one that Neil Gaiman hasn't let be New 52'ed, Sandman.
Sorry for the short rant; I just get irate every time I see that logo...

I do like the style of shading; its similar but it all seems to blend a little more--which is cool! It does make the lines less noticable and more realistic. Excellent job with that and the pose!

and her face looks gorgeous from this angle. The legs look sexy too!
I find her arm looks strange but not totally sure why. Possible the elbow and shoulder from the angle here.

Will always like this look. Though with the nu52 making their alt world Kara a Red Lantern. Yeah glad I dropped them all. I just read He-man. (Thank you Evil-Lyn for letting us all know this Kara is out there stil along with all other pre nu52 characters. Too bad nu52 Kal is dust in the wind now.

I love your art. The style, digital inking and colors all work well. The background and lighting from the sun are nice as well. And the font is good for the letters.
My one critique doesn't really have to do with your art: this version of Supergirl's costume makes it look like someone gave her a kid's underoos (that don't fit) and a cape. The new 52 version is actually better (did I just find something about New 52 that I like?? *shivers*).
Anyway, good job!
