Description
Part one, side view of the head, this is the "basic" one, and the other ones that focus on the head(front view, top view, and 3/4 view) will kinda be "based" on this.I made this quick tutorial, I've always been meaning to make this, and untill now, like 1 1/2 years after contemplating it, yeah it's here now. Just I have been too insecure about making a tutorial, bit at least now I am incorporating some of the things in my Life Drawing class into this tutorial.
Hopefully I will make the rest of the other tutorials, and then move on to the body & personalization\design ideas tutorial.

This is a very good tutorial. But its 'horns' not 'antlers'. Antlers are more... splayed out at the ends... And for a traditional aisian dragon the horns are flat not rounded *mythology buff*. Every thing else is spot on. I'm not telling you off or insulting you or your style I'm just telling you. Please don't be offended. Your really good.

I call them antlers because well...that's what they look like, I know they are more like horns since they don't fall out and grow again seasonally. But if I can recall, doesn't the 7 animal description say "antlers of a stag"?
But thanks for pointing those out. Most Eastern Dragon tutorials I've seen make you draw fuzzy Haku clones anyway XD. I haven't been drawing as much as I have, so that's why for a long time, to now I haven't been working much on part 2, and to make up for it I want part 2 to show 2-3 things(front view, 3/4 view, overhead view, and maybe open mouth).

I realy like this one because its more keaping to the original eastern dragon ideal. Haku isn't even eastern. Only western dragons and Wyvrn and Wyrms have wings. As far as I can remember eastern ones fly on clouds...

This is a very good tutorial! You have clear cut pictures that explain the text without having to even read it. But of course, I'm not saying people shouldn't read it, but it helps immensely to read it once, then practice by a quick reference to pictures.
