nope! i have no interest in preserving pencils. i have no emotional attachment to them, and other than archival purposes, they have little value or use to me.
and yep! i've fucked up before. working over your only pencils will make you a superior artist. you will make better decisions utilizing a deeper understanding of what is needed. if you can do shit over, your learning curve will deaden. people always ask me how i get so precise in my work, well there you go. i think really dynamically about things before i make them permanent. it's a slow process, but it'll separate your work for the ubiquitous herds of shit artists that stagnate this medium (in America, at least).

and I've mainly inked directly on the pencils ... though I wasn't sure wether to be satisfied with

your inks are fantastic, but there's an energy to these pencils i'm diggin just a bit more than the finished piece for some reason and i can't even put my finger on it. rad shit as usual though, no doubt.

pencils are more painterly. there's a lot more room for interpretation in them; compared to inks.
