Mainly about the brush. I have trouble blending the colors together when 'dithering' the pick. I just cant make it look natural.

well, i use Photoshop 7.0, when you select the color and the brush, i usually down the opacity and ΒΏfluity or flow? (my PS is in spanish). First i paint the base color. Then comes the second color for shading. I usually use a big brush to make it look degraded or blending. and for the strong colors, i use a smaller brush with a 10% or 15% opacity. i don't use the Drop (for unfocus) until i see some error in the painting because sometimes if the drop have a high pressure you can loose the essence of your paiting!
these are the main things i do for paiting in that style.
sorry for my english! i'm using the google translator and now makes me crazy! xD hahahahahahha
