It makes the inaccurate assumption that back in the nineties they thought velociraptors were the size of people.

look, i know it wasnt supposed to look like the real one (btw seriously they use friggin frog dna like wtf at least use croc dna) BUT the thing that bothers me is the SIZE (like they didnt found an oversized fossil of a velociraptor on 1923)

They even say somewhere in the franchise that they don't look entirely like they originally did, partly due to the frog DNA I'd assume.

In Jurassic Park, modern genes could have caused some mutations. But the appearence of JP's raptors is certainly innacurate on a Saurian/Walking with Dinosaurs/Dinosaur Planet like scenario.
