Description

They were broken, Ironforge had to know this, that there was no way left for them to survive the onslaught of rebels. As much as they reinforced the Longhouse, a single building could not stand in a city of foes. But the Ironforge were Stonewarg, as much as any of the other clans, and they were here to fight to the bloody death. Even if they were to perish entirely, they would drag every last rebel to their gory end alongside them. This was the force that the rebels faced, one that had nothing left to lose. Such an enemy was one far more dangerous than the young Hjorr had ever faced off against before. Trapped in a swarm of soldiers, it only took one slip up for Hjorr to nearly lose her life. It was only the constant presence of Runa that saved her. The two had fought through the city side by side, and now the older warrior dragged Hjorr's mutilator down. Having foregone weapons as her rage overwhelmed her, Runa sunk her fangs deep into the soldier's throat. Determination alone, however, would not have carried Runa through the throng of Ironforge that now surrounded them. It was only the arrival of the Ulfang Jarl, THEIR Jarl, that brought the fight even. It was Skovald they fought for, and he who fought for them.
