Junior was causing problems before he left the womb.
This one isn't particularly ShikaHina-ish... more like bonding over having to deal with a scary pregnant woman.
This was also just a way for me to try drawing food. If you can recognize what I drew, I'm happy. And yay for sporks!
I think from now on, when drawing Shikamaru not in uniform, I'll put him in a baseball tee. It just seems like a Shikamaru type of shirt, ya know? Hinata I'm not sure about yet. Her shirt was experimental; I think I kinda sorta like it, maybe. Changed her hair ever-so-slightly too. I like this much better.
As for Junior, technically this is the first time I haven't drawn him in a onesie.
I think that's what they're called, those full-body zip-up baby pajamas with the feet. Yeah. 
Shikamaru, Hinata, and Kurenai belong to Kishimoto Masashi.

I don't know when pregnant women get really hungry, but I know the cravings start pretty early, like 2 months or so. I saw my mother go through weird crap, like insisting that her ice cream have tortilla chips mixed in.
And I'm glad to hear my drawings of food actually look like food!

how long have you been drawing?

It's kind of hard to say. I used to draw all the time when I was little, like 7 or 8 years old. And I was usually using family photos as references, so there's like all these doodles of my mother in high school, or my uncle on the baseball team. During my summer vacation, I'd stay with my grandmother, and she used to paint, so I'd play around with her oils and acrylics (my mother actually has my first oil painting from when I was 11 hanging in her bathroom 
Then I just kind of stopped artsy stuff until my sophomore year in high school when I was forced into one semester of art. I don't recall any sketching though. To be honest, I don't remember any teaching. It was pretty useless.
Finally, I'm in my latest art streak. It started in May of 2007, and I couldn't draw anime/manga stuff (or much of anything after so long) worth a crap. I picked up How To Draw Anime & Game Characters: Volume 1 for beginners and How To Draw Manga: Bodies and Anatomy and started from there. The first thing I did was "It".
So...that's on and off (mostly off) for 18 years. LOL. Really though, considering what I've been posting, more like 8 months.

i used to draw a little, but it was only every landscapes or houses on my schoolwork when i was supposed to be learning something (at least that's why i think i was there

I like the family vibe too. I also like to think meal time with pregnant Kurenai is Shikamaru's lesson for when he marries and impregnates Hinata: Learn how to cook--everything, and A LOT of it.

I agree with you about the food yeo-chan, it does look good.
BUT what if Kurenai has weird cravings and is about to mix say the fish with the watermelon, add some of the chocolate ice cream sundae with a pickle on top?

Hmm, there is some kind of fish in the center, a root beer float at Kurenai's left elbow, watermelon slices, pie, chocolate ice cream sundae, ramen, sandwich, pickles...and something that looks like...glazed donuts.
While it's not Shika/Hina, this is a wonderful picture of the future 'godparents' bonding with Kurenai.

Regarding the onesie, I noticed that whenever I drew Junior, he was always wearing one. So obviously lazy: just draw a general baby shaped body and add a zipper to the front.
Now, about those Gai and Lee eyebrows--do you think they were that big and bushy and then they grew into them? THAT would be terrifying.

Ah cool, variety of baby clothes. Well at least you can draw babies and thinks that look like actually characters, I always end up with oddly squiggly stick figures 0_0
Yeah those eyebrows...pretty freaky. I 'hope' the eyebrows grew to be that bushy, but hey in the realm of Naruto...you never know...
