Description
This station wagon was built from the stories my dad used to tell me, about how Grandpa and Grandma would take their kids to Canada every summer to visit cousins. I'm wondering how they managed to fit nine kids into the station wagon.Anyway, this model was built without any reference, so if you are wondering why I didn't designate a model name, that is why. I'm not sure which car model this wagon resembles most...

My instinct is to say it looks like either a Chrysler, or some kind of GM car (Pontiac, Chevy? I see you tagged Buick, but it's definitely not a Cadillac. I could see it as an older Bel-Air as you tagged, too, before they started the huge fins around '56).
I should ask my dad what it's most like. He was there (born in '51).
Oh, and you may want to lose the passenger-side mirror. Those weren't standard until the '70s. Hell, neither were shoulder seat belts, for that matter! Just a lap belt and a prayer.
At any rate, gorgeous model. I can't stop looking at it.

I am leaning toward the Bel-Air, especially since you mentioned they didn't always have those glamourous fins. I was also considering a '57 Riviera, and Chrysler slipped my mind.
Nice eye! I felt like something was wrong with the model, so I rebuilt it a few times, but I missed the side-mirror! Silly me!
