Description This is another muscle car I built, based loosely off an old Hot Wheels car.

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas! (Because there is nothing more festive than a high-performance automobile.)

Thanks!

It does sort of look like Dom's Charger doesn't it? Perhaps that should be one of my future projects!

Should not be more than modifying the engine/turbocharger

I was thinking Camaro SS. If Mopar, it's not really a Charger, but maybe a Challenger, '70s or current-era. It'd be fun to see the Hot Wheels car you're talking about.

Or, with an engine that overblown, you could just give it all a mud-bath and say it's a Mad Max series car!

Onyx was based off a Camaro that was released in 1968, so you were pretty close.

Sadly, all of its paint is chipped off, the hood is missing, the axles are bent, and I'm missing a wheel, so its not something I would take a picture of. I thought it would be cool to rebuild it out of Lego, taking a few creative liberties by giving it a different paintjob and an overblown engine.

Mad Max is another thing I should look into sometime...

You could repaint it with gloss and/or metallic model enamels. I did that with an old 1989 ERTL die-cast metal Batmobile toy I still have. Just gloss black. Turned out pretty good, though airbrushing or spraypainting would be ideal and eliminate air bubbles.

The missing hood, though. . . not sure what to do about that one.
