Description
This is my final project in Photoshop. We had to choose a book that we liked and remake the cover. I read this book when I was 8 and I remember how much I didn't like the cover.So I chose "The Fairy Rebel" By Lynne Reid Banks.
I think its amazing the things that stick with us...
I've always wanted to see Tiki in her blue jeans but none of the covers for the book have ever shown it!
And as evil as the queen was, I'm sure she was beautiful and scary as hell, too.

Actually (and you may have already come across it) there IS (at least) one cover that shows Tiki wearing jeans--the 1989 Avon Camelot edition, with a girl (presumably Bindi) in a yellow dress, wearing a flower crown, surrounded by fairies. Tiki is flying next to her and wearing her "floaty top" and blue jeans. Granted, she is literally about the size of a nickel (if not smaller), but she IS wearing them on that cover.
I love that book so much. I've read it dozens of times and have entire pages memorised

well, the idea itself isn't the most original, but the way you put everything together on this this great! i like the queen and the colors you used on that half of the picture..very nice!

That is a much better cover than the original. Ah, this takes me back to elementary, when we'd take pink and blue hi-liters and color little tufts in our hair. XD
