The model is extremely attractive. The "red wash" could be considered too much... and detract from the detail and clarity of the image over all.... BUT the fact that this is a VERY close shot... the wash tones down the intensity that might otherwise have your view searching every inch to try and peice it together as a whole. THe wash makes the normaly over-bold detail much gentler....and draws your attention to the biggest focus other than the ENTIRE face. THE EYES. Even with the wash...they are very blue and intense all on thier own. Thus the true focus is the eyes. Now the wash iteself, being RED stands for 2 things in our culture. DANGER and SEXUALITY... so as its a faded hugh, its very suggestive. SO in the end, you have a great gentle, yet suggestive photo.
