While drawing some requests today, I learned how to do proper lineart in Sai. And then everything became so FUN!
I also went through my gallery and realized that I'm kinda boring with colors sometimes... I only do black lineart and pretty much only use my favorite colors over and over haha... SO I decided to make something more colorful than usual and try to make it real pretty. This is the result. Marceline in glasses and a pink sidecut.

Well, I tried some new coloring techniques for this, so I'm glad you like it! 
I used Paint Tool Sai and went a lite crazy with the colors rather than just sticking to base color + shade + highlights. Not sure how to describe it better though

I love the mischievously expression she's making. "Hoooo? That gave me an idea..." Something like that.
The fingers look delicate and nice, I wish I could draw them like that - but the thing I like the most are the eyes. Very very beautiful. Great job.

I'm not that good at hands so it took some time getting them right, used some reference photos and looking at my own hands... But in the end I think they turne dout pretty good

Once I finished (after 8 hours of hard work), SAI stopped responding and I accidentally clicked in the spot right when the "close program" option appeared, and, sadly, I'm a giant dummy and didn't save ONCE. I'm so heartbroken...!! But looking at your drawing makes me feel alot better. Thank you.

Before, I used the brush tool to do lineart. Yesterday I learned how to use the pen tool and linework layer, and it made things so much easier haha.
