the challenge this week was to redesign someone else's design (which i was wary of since that's what got me kicked out of PD4 ) into a dress you could just throw on in the morning to run errands or something.

this was the dress I was assigned: [link]

I kept the overall idea, just made it more casual. you all know I looove empire waists, so that was a no brainer. I kept the yellow and red skirt, just made them 2 layers of flowy fabric (since that's all that was specified)...i took the ribbon on the sleeves and made it line the waist, and then shortened the sleeves into tiny sheer cap sleeves. The apple accesories are all there, all I did was lengthen chains for the necklace and anklet...hmm what else. I just wanted to design a dress that you could put on, not have to fuss over, and still look good in!
