OK this is stupid… I’ve really been into Pacific Rim lately, and I just came up with this random idea of Raleigh and Mako getting married and then leaving for their wedding trip, using Gipsy Danger instead of a car. Romantic, eh? Seriously though, I did appreciated how they kept Mako and Raleigh only as close friends, and not as lovers in the end of "Pacific Rim". Which goes against the Hollywood norm. But at the same time, the hopeless nerd romanticist in all of us wanted to see these two hook up. And the Nueron Bridge makes that dream all the more likely!
That aside, this is a hilarious and charming illustration, and a pleasant surprise when I first laid eyes on it. Thanks for making it!

Haha yeah, it's funny how the subconsciousness kind of... automathically ships characters even if the film itself doesn't actually certify the case. I also think Pacific Rim did great with the character relationships, keeping them temperate enough and focusing on the essentials...
But after all, to me, making that picture was a lot of fun
