I sorta agree with Raukokano
about the wings, but this is an
awesome piece of work!

((I don't get many comments, either! =o))
Lately I've been in a light blue and tan mood, (probably influenced by my avatar), which is why I colored your lineart that way.
And I don't really like working with all blacks, because then it wouldn't be very balanced. >.>; Though... most of the time I screw that up, too. xD;
Okay, my photoshop lesson: make sure you know where your light source is coming from, so you know how the shading and highlights should look. If you don't identify a light source, then it usually messes things up. Your light flare in the background could make a good secondary source, if you add very little red highlights to the character in that area. :3
Yeah, I'll be on my side of DA if you need me. xD

I'll keep that in mind. I've been thinking about changing around her wings a bit too in the coloring and such. . . I just haven't had time. ^^ Thanks for the tip, I might just do that when I get the time to. Thanks for coloring in the line art too. . .
Like I said, yours was major opposite in contrast to mine. . . urm . . . this was only, like . . . my fourth job with photoshop, so you'll have to forgive me if it's a little off . . . do you like it over all though? I'm always paranoid about that. It looked better on my laptop because that's what I colored it on . . . here it's way too dark. LCD screens are not good for coloring. xP

*shrugs* ^-^;
I think it's very well done for a fourth try. =o When I started using Photoshop, I tried making my lines perfectly b/w, selecting the white spots with the wand and filling them with the brush. xD; I've come a long way in a year... I think.
Nevermind. xD;
but the airbrush is definitely my favorite for total freehand, of course... my mouse sucks, so I use the polygonal lasso for almost everything. >_>;
I don't have a laptop, either. Dx *hopes to get one soon*

Thanks ^^
I wish I had a tablet . . . it would make my life easier than the touchpad. My lap top's the only computer that's mine alone.

I agree with Raukokano.
The wings do look like stone.
If you'd soften them up a bit then well.
This picture will be even more rad than it already is.
Gorgeous job as always! <333

^^ Thanks. Glad you like it. I've been trying to work out the thing with the wings and all. I'm just happy that I'm learning to use the darned program so fast. XD I improve with just about every picture.

Aw, don't be jealous. I practice way too much, it's only natural to improve. ^^ I probably shouldn't practice quite so much . . . I have to eat and sleep too O.o
I know why they call them starving artists now! They get so wrapped up in their work that they just forget to eat! XD
