Doing laundry in the middle of the night lol. I had been wanting to draw a mermaid... well, paint one really. I had originally intended for this to be line art only but I got carried away. I was thinking of a lion fish when I drew it for some reason. 3rd mermaid, the others I scrapped >.<Related content

Not a fan of mermaids, but lionfish are AWESOME. Did a really good job with her.
And it looks like the little fish there is quoting the date for you.
(I think any tolerance I had for fish-people, the Tideborn killed pretty hard.)

I've actually always loved mermaids o.o Not so much totally conventional ones tho lol. Probably also has something to do with how I can't draw legs.....
