i was reading Haga/Ren again lately as new chapters have been released by my "inside guys" ::jerkoff gesture::. i thought to myself, "wow. y'know the manga really has less and more to offer than Fullmetal Alchemist the anime, like some of these characters here, ooo. i should fanart one of them."

fueled by the megaman 3 soundtrack. construction time, about four days. i didn't go out much this week :/ but then again, this is-- don't be fooled-- a VERY very simple picture. single character headshots are easy to do. especially with NO background. and i had a reference open in the next window that i peeked at once in a while. i changed the facial expression though i like the sexy grin way better than the fight-face. i love those teeth.

i do believe i mentioned that this was fanart. i'll disclaim credit once more for thinking up this character. because i didn't. he is property of Hiromu Arakawa the amazing mangacow.

there are some AWESOME guys in the haga/ren manga who never get mention in the anime (which invented characters to make a complete story). i really was stuck between fanarting Dr. Knox the chainsmoking medical examiner, and this guy. Ling Yao, a prince of Xing (FMA China) as Greed. now i was pissed when they killed Greed in the anime, and when i read the manga, i was wondering/hoping it wouldn't happen again right up until it did. ;_; and damn he got owned. worse than in the anime.

but at least he gets a second chance! and his host body is a cool chinese guy. ooo, fun. the manga is still in production, so as of yet, Ling/Greed is/are still alive, and they get along with eachother. and have sexy parties inside Ling's head with lots of hookers.
