Description
Toshinori/All Might
All Might was the famous Guardian Hero of Aomare until about six years ago, when he was gravely injured in his fight with All for One, and since then his health has been steadily declining. Toshinori believes that he only survived his injury because he had One for All inside him, and that his life force may have been mixed up into One for All, so when its last spark dies out, so will he. Having passed on his quirk to Izuku, and knowing that time is coming soon, he wants to leave Aomare so his possible death doesn’t negatively impact his students, his friends and the city.
What he finds in Sacarina is that though his remaining skills felt useless in a hero training academy, the people in the rural community have been making do with the bare minimum of civilization, and his willingness to help and experience make him a valuable asset to them.
Faction Affiliation- Heroes Guild- Guardian Hero of Aomare
Gift: One for All- An incredible stockpile of power that grows as it is passed from person to person.
Favorite Things- Giant Kelp Forest
Height- 248cm not including fins.
Physical Traits- His skin, scales and fins are in poor condition, so they’re a little less colorful than they should be, and the ends of his fins are thin and ragged. This is because his nutrition is lacking and he’s under a lot of stress.
Toshi’s gill cover on his left side was destroyed beyond salvaging when he got his scar, so Nighteye had a prosthesis made. When his body condition began to decline and his real form and muscle form started to drastically vary in size, his gill cover kept popping off when he’d switch forms. Lots of time and money had to be put into making a prosthesis that would change its shape with him, be durable enough so All Might wouldn’t destroy it, and be removable when he needs to have surgery. However the end result was so expensive and heavy, Toshi decided to just wear a simple hard cover over his left side, which he rarely removes. It works like a one-way valve, allowing water to exit and also protecting the very sensitive area. He claims he is saving the other for “formal occasions”.
Toshi is actually very heavy for a merperson, or rather he’s not very buoyant. Merpeople use the air in their swim bladders (residual lungs) to regulate their buoyancy, and store excess fat in their tail to offset the weight of the heavy muscles there. Obviously Toshi has very little fat and only one lung, he has to work extra hard to stay afloat, and if he gets tired of swimming he sinks like a stone.
