Abilities:

Wraith of the Dead- Mercurius can summon up to seven undead spirits that serve as his scouts and companions. They are not physical beings but are 8 feet tall each and act very much as ghosts. They cannot do physical damage however they can latch onto someone and drain their energy through touch. The wraiths can touch inanimate objects and move things around at will. Mercurius uses them as his eyes and ears as they can fly up to ten miles away from him and report back information. Very helpful in his mercenary work as he could see the enemy coming from miles around.

Palurin Megil- This is the name of Mercurius' sword and means Spirit Sword. It refers to the sword's ability to adapt to many elemental bases. Mercurius can slice his sword through any substance and have it gained the power of that substance. For example, if he slices the sword through fire the sword is now fire based. Water, sand, glass, etc etc. However he can only do one element at a time and once the sword is sheathed it returns to normal steel. Very sharp steel but a normal sword.

Mercurius was born into the strangest of families. His mother is a psychopathic Demi who takes pleasure in slaughtering the masses and annoying the shit out of people. His father is an Arc who tries to purge the corruption of the Demis while trying to stop Lamia from killing everything. Needless to say, Mercurius developed a tolerance for the weird very early on in life. The pup was changed between his parents, learning to kill and fight from his mother while gaining respect for the innocent and the gods from his father.

Branching out on his own, Mercurius went off to interact with the humans and fellow Apocs curving his bloodlust by acting as a hired hand. The title Mercenary was applied to Mercurius first as a play on his name since he has been in the busy so long. Even over 600 years later, he doesn't tired of the job. Rather he wanders from world to world, exploring, meeting people, and then later killing people. But not mindlessly like his Mother, Mercurius only liked to kill the corrupt as taught by his father. But he was plagued by guilt if someone got in his way.

However, Mercurius is not defined by his profession. The wolf likes to interact with people, very polite but a bit clumsy. He was gifted his voice from his mother and can play the guitar, drum, and violin. Sometimes he entered fencing contests to improve his swordsmanship over the years but few have come close to beating him. Still, it's good fun. Mercurius doesn't really have any close friends as his profession, his wraiths, or his family tends to scare people off. It makes him a bit lonely but he manages. Even with romantic situations, Mercurius is not one for commitment but the rare soul that can capture his heart he will remain loyal. He is not as pure as his father nor as corrupt as his father. A nice mixture of both.
