You might all think that Unicorns and Alicorns are the first to use magic, but the true origin of magic came from the Dragons. There is a breed of dragons called, Magic Crafters, which are the first to master magic including love. These dragons passed their wisdom and training to their Pony apprentices, Faust, and the young Celestia and Luna.Princess Luna mastered her magic of dream exploring through the Dream Weaver dragons. The rest of their training was placed within a book that tells of the wisdom of the Magic Crafters. They too, know the Legend of the Purple Dragon and discovered how quick that another one was born four years after the previous Purple Dragon and then the egg itself disappeared from Skylands.
Here we see the current Purple Dragon, Spike and the Princess of Love, Cadance performing 'The Wisdom of the Magic Crafters' an ability that occurs when a Dragon and an Alicorn merge their abilities. (Don't get any shipping ideas over this pic.)
