Such a shame that the episode wasn't up to snuff. There were some things I was vastly disappointed with in Legends.
Be Human though sort of touched me when the Marine died in Ghost's arms.

I agree with you, some of the episodes seemed too clichΓ© to me me... tho I did love Prototype for the real human feel, Odd One Out... for the comedy and the fact it was done by the team who brought us Dragonball lol and The Package, coz that was just Awesome lol

i liked Prototype for similar reasons. and i liked Origin, cause we got some back story on the Forerunner.

i honestly hated this since in the movie, it made no sense to me. why would someone like this join the corps it doesn't add up. Don't get my wrong there were part of the movie that i like the forerunner and there fight with flood and spartan 1338 but this since and one with odst guy with big hair (note: they need a hair cut) and here are three reason why someone like this will not make it in the corps
1. boot camp
the marine corps boot camp is made for only the strong in body and mind look online and see how mach hell you most go though.
2. It can kill you!
if you seen full metal jacket you knew who private pile and if you do research in this since you'll found out that really happen. NO REALLY THIS REALLY HAPPEN. there training so brutal that manly marine have killed people and them self for reason at no and someone this soft world never even made it to the door.
3.being able to pull the trigger
they want them to kill that why they train them, having thoughts on life is some thing they will rip from your head personally.
this is my thought on this since from the movie i look at thing realistically. Tha mains no emo zombie or hunky werewolf!

They are all true. Tho in the Halo Universe, with the fighting with the insurgents and the Covenant, they needed every willing able body to fight, so I'm guessing she made it through by default lol

Also, it might have been conscription or a drafting. We saw how normal civilians were brought into the Militia in Contact: Harvest.
