Function: He’s part of the club and competes just in backstroke style and freestyle, but just 50 mts. He doesn’t participate in the relay’s because he enjoys watching his friends swimming those in competitions, although he did participate in friendly relays in practices and matches agains the Samezuka Academy.

Dish is a nice and charming boy who enjoys laughing and good company. He comes off as a energetic boy with a lot of optimism, that’s why he gets along pretty well with Nagisa. He’s very romantic and enjoys playing as flirtatious, although, when it comes to talk to the guy he likes he can be shy.

Friends: Haruka, Nagisa, Makoto, Rei, Gou, Sousuke and Rin.

Family: Mother, Father and sister.

History: When Dishu was born he almost died from Pneumonia, but thanks to the doctors he survived. This is the main reason why he’s parents are overprotective in lots of things. He grew and at the age of 6 he started swimming in a swimming club near his home. He loved been inside the water and often thought of himself as a merman.

As he grew up he had to move to different places in the city because of his father’s occupation, he was part of the congress. When he was 15 he moved to Iwatobi and started working at the Iwatobi Swim Club Retuns, teaching kids. He had to change schools so he left the academy for some time, and that’s when Makoto joins the academy to teach the kids that Dishu left. When he was done doing the paper work to change schools, again, he returned to the academy to visit the kids, and that’s when he met Makoto. During that day Makoto walked Dishu home, and found out that the boy entered the Iwatobi High School. Makoto didn’t waste time and offered the boy to join the swimming team, Dishu didn’t hesitate to accept the offer.

Days past and he met the team and enjoyed practicing with them, and getting closer to Makoto, who couldn’t really ignore the boy with the skyblue eyes.

Other

-Makoto and him got together before the Nationals.

- He joins Makoto and Haruka in Tokyo to attend to the university.

- He lives with Makoto.
