Hiro Tamasura is the son of Sakamoto Tamasura and the grandson of Akio Tamasura. When Hiro was born, he was very weak, and the doctors though he wouldn't be able to live after his first year. So his parents and grandpa went to an ancient dragon shrine were they prayed to Shinyo, the Dragon statue, to save their child. The dragon awakened, and granted Hiro some of his spirit. So Hiro literally has the spirit of a dragon. He is stronger and faster than any normal person. When he is in a tense fight, blue fire radiates off his body. In return, Shinyo asked his parents to make him a righteous human being, to always fight for others, and to teach him how to be a powerful warrior.

Hiro is a courageous yet naive man. He is energetic and sometimes behaves like a child. Hiro can see the good in others and makes it his duty to help those in need. Before every fight, Hiro bows to his opponents, showing them respect. If he wins, he helps his adversary off the floor and congratulates them on fighting so well. Hiro has a huge sense of loyalty and morality. Because of his all-around good personality, Hiro is liked by everyone in his village.

Even though Hiro is attractive and kind-hearted, his parents fear that he will never get married and have kids. So they gave him an engagement ring to hold onto incase he meets that special someone. He wears it on a chain around his neck. His mother made him his outfit. On the back of his vest is the silhouette of a dragon head, symbolizing Shinyo.

Hiro learned traditional karate from his father and grandpa, two of the greatest martial artist in the world, and some pro-wrestling moves he watched on TV. His favorite wrestler as a teenager was Alex. He can shoot a blue fireball from his hands called the "Shinboya". He also has his version of the superman punch. He dives at his foes with a flaming fist he calls the "Inferno Punch". Despite his size, Hiro is very agile and flexible.
