Description

To clarify a few things, the ones that are in full coloring are my main favorites, the others that are monochrome are my other favorites. This here shows the 6 regions (we have so far) and types, and the Pokemon I like from each region and type. What are your favorites?

Normal: Smeargle (Sketch)- Now I bet you all will not believe this, but this lil’ artist cutie is not only my favorite Normal type, but she is also my favorite Pokémon of all time. Two reasons I love this Pokémon: 1) I’m an artist myself and can relate to Smeargle and 2) Its move “Sketch” can take any attack any Pokémon makes (allowing it to have a diverse move set).

Fire: Charizard (Rocket)-Never has disappointed me in any battles, and could be a contender for favorite starter Pokémon.

Fighting: Keldeo (Cobalt)-Even though his original look is so cute, his resolute form is so badass! I mean, Keldeo’s other form is a battle ready look.

Water: Feraligatr (Typhoon)-I love this cuddly reptile. He was my first immediate choice when I saw his evolution for Heart Gold and Soul Silver—and boy was I not disappointed by his strength as I raised him up along my journey.

Flying: Braviary (Skyward)-I love all the flying Pokémon designs, but this guy stood out to me the most. I mean come out, he just screams: “America!”

Grass: Ivysaur (Rosemary)-So many grass types, so many grass starters, yet out of all of them, Ivysaur is my number one. Thank the anime Pokemon series for helping me with this decision.

Poison: Crobat (Grim)-My all time favorite poison type that will never change. He’s at level 100 and can one-shot most Pokemon types (no joke, he Ko’d an electric, dark and fairy in one hit).

Electric: Luxray (Sparky)-The first electric Pokemon that caught my attention. She’s such a darling and loves to be rubbed on the top of her head! I love this lil’ lion!

Ground: Excadrill (Monty)-Excadrill stood out the most to me out of all the other ground types. This sturdy mole has helped me greatly against most ground types (an future fairy types) with his metal attacks.

Psychic: Espeon (Rupee)-Oh Espeon, your Psychich attack is the best dang move in all of Pokemon history and always KO’ing each opponent that comes along—a perfect psychic type!

Rock: Tyrantrum (Sharpclaw)-I fell in love with this Pokemon as soon as I saw it revealed for Pokemon X & Y, and what made that love definite was when I decided to use him in my party. Such a tank and powerhouse of a rock Pokemon!

Ice: Mamoswine (Truffles)-There are three reasons I love this Ice type: 1) A great tank and has a good defense, 2) very powerful attacks, and 3) His cute fluffy moustache is just too adorable! I love it!

Bug: Caterpie (Jade) & Joltik (Munchies)-Just look at how adorable they look…who wouldn’t want to snuggle them? Also, they’re so much fun to play with in the Pokemon Amie!

Dragon: Dragonite (Puddles)-So cute and pudgy looking, plus a very strong dragon type that can have a variety of diverse moveset—it’s up to me to choose the right one.

Ghost: Phantump (Stumpy)-His Pokedex entry may be quite spine chilling to read, but I wouldn’t pass up on hugging this lil’ ghostie cutie pie!

Dark: Zoroark (Mima)-A caring, yet protective mother and a trustworthy companion…do I need to explain more?

Steel: Skarmory (Sky Patrol)-It’s quite a swift and sturdy Pokémon for steel and flying type—also, Skarmory’s design is cool too!

Legendary: Zygarde (Biosphere)-A Legendary Pokémon that is all about going green and saving the Earth in a more “eco-system” friendly way? I’m so up for it! I just adore Zygarde and love how cute and cuddly it looks. It deserves so much more appreciation and love.
