I'm not sure if that is good or bad.

Well, it depends, in 1930 there was the '30 revolution that placed our loved by many, hated by some, dictator GetΓΊlio Vargas in power

Then there was the 1932 revolution, some generals created a provisional government and tried to depose him and restore the constitution, they got crushed by waves and waves of Renault FT17

Then there was the 1935 revolution, the communists tried to revolt, but most of the peasants and the worker's sided with GetΓΊlio and the commies got crushed again by the FT17s

Then there was the 1937 revolution, the integralists (Brazilian fascists), angry after Vargas removed them from the government and centralized all powers in himself, revolted, and they were defeated again by the FT17, then another "democratic" revolt exploded and got crushed another time by Vargas tanks, this tank saw more combat in brazil than in any other place in the world

The MS-1 was inspired by the FT-17, after all, wasn't it?

It sure is, if you ever get to Chicago it's a great place to visit, another fav of mine was the Kenosha Military Museum, but I believe they are gone. I posted a bunch of pics from there.

Only time I seen a FT was at the Cantigny First Armored Division museum in Wheaton, IL. It was a MG variant (open air display) if I remember correctly. It's a truly awesome museum if you can make it there, especially the section about D-Day. You watch a film on a landing craft then the door opens and you walk onto a recreation of Omaha beach after the landing. www.firstdivisionmuseum.org/

Awesome picture though, it's good to see these great grandfathers of tanks still preserved.

Thanks for letting me know about this museum, it looks truly spectacular! I believe I may have seen a few photos of it in an armour magazine once, though I can neither recall what it was nor which museum it was. I will surely make an attempt to get out there if I am out that way, though I am in Ontario, so it is a bit of a drive. If you ever get the chance, go to Ottawa to see the Canadian War Museum, which is a top notch museum at displaying everything from the first settlers to the military today, and they include things such as the vehicle gallery, and also include one of Hitler's staff cars. Well worth the visit!

Oh I most definitely will if I can, I'm kind of jealous of my friend who might make it out to the Bovington tank museum.
