His fight was pretty easy. But you can't deny that with the Artorias of the Abyss dlc and alternative opening scene for Sif that comes with it if you do the dlc before Sif, the fight carries alot of emotion and it's kind of sad to kill him in the end.
I love the drawing though, it's kinda amazing to me considering how much I love this boss fight and the character Sif in general. Despite the lack of interaction we get with him.

Dark Souls does a very good job of capturing an emotion, and if you know the backstory the world is very sad. In the end Sif just wanted to protect you from the darkness that has destroyed everything he loves.

Yeah, I'm not afraid to mention that, at that point, once I had realized what Sif wanted to do, I did tear up a little bit. Although that sadness was replaced by blinding fury once I reached bed of chaos...

Yeah, I almost cried as well, But The Bed of Chaos stuff is some of my favorite lore in the game so I really enjoyed that even if it is terrible.

Oh yeah, naturally. Bed of Chaos is a key member of Dark Souls Lore as The Witch of Isalith, infact, Demon Ruins itself is pretty important lore wise, even if it is a little annoying sometimes with all the boss fights and big enemies. Although I think my favourite area has to be Anor Londo just because of how it looks and how well designed the layout of the area is, it also includes my 3rd favourite boss fight, Ornstein and Smough.

It's a pretty neat place with a fake sun. The Ornstein and Smough fight is super tough, but everyone seams to like the characters at least.

I find the boss alot simpler a third or fourth time compared to the first two times. Some boss fights are just hard to get a grip on though.

Well hopefully you learn things the first time around and that will make other play throughs easier. Sometimes I except to die a few times just to get a handle on the boss.

Yeah, although 'trail and error' gameplay doesn't apply to Dark Souls. I call it adaptability gameplay, learning how things work and adapt to it. Whether or not I actually die is just part of the process.

Yeah, unfortunately I have a stack of video games that I want to play and I've already finished Dark Souls so I won't be playing through it again any time soon.

Finishing Dark Souls is super hard. Although Gwyn's aggressive AI doesn't help.
Have you played Dark Souls 2. It's fun and I recommend it.Β

Yes I've played Dark Souls 2 a little bit, I've only beaten 2 bosses or something. I need to get back to playing it sometime soon.

You do. The game is pretty solid for a game that was only Produced byΒ Hidetaka Miyazaki rather than created by him, Like Demon's Souls and Dark Souls. But I guess Miyazaki was somewhat busy working on 'Project Beast' aka Bloodborne.

Yeah it's a decent game. But I do feel the art direction of the game is a little off. The world is a little to bright and happy compared to the first one and most of the boss designs aren't as cool as the bosses in Dark Souls.

True, I did feel like the emptiness of Dark Souls was kind of misplaced in Dark Souls 2. And the bosses were designed better in Dark Souls. But Bloodborne looks fantastic. If you haven't already, you should check it out.

I've seen it and it does look fantastic and very cool. But I don't think I'll be buying a PS4 just to get the game.

Well I hope you enjoy the game. I just don't see a good reason to get any of the new systems (I'm a PC guy).

I was a Nintendo fan-boy for a long time since it was my first system. Then I moved into playing games on the PC and xbox, and now I play pretty much all my games on PC since it's just better.

The only character out of the entire game that I actually liked.

What, you didn't like Siegmeyer of Catarina, Big Hat Logan, or the blacksmith? Their all rather friendly and enjoyable characters to me.
