"Ah, welcome. Please, do come in. Forgive me, I was a bit too engrossed in my studies it seems. Feel free to make yourself at home while I tidy up a bit. It will do no good to have papers and books scattered every which way. Would you care for some tea? I have the kettle on at the moment. A nice Darjeeling, if I recall correctly."Related content

She smiles, crossing over to the tea kettle on the hearth. "Is there any kind in particular that you would prefer?"

"Um, Earl Grey if you have it." He looks around for a place to sit.

"Of course. One moment, please." Rose searches the cabinets for extra tea satchels.

Returning shortly with a cup of hot tea, Rose set this down on the nearby table. "Any cream or sugar?"

"No, plain will be fine. Thank you."
I take the cup from you, feeling its warmth in my palms.

"Thank you." He takes a sip. "Mm, it's delicious!" His eyes light up with appreciation.

Picks up the cup and takes a sip. "My apologies, I have not introduced myself." Put the cup down on a nearby table and then bows. "Evowizard at your service. Renowned writer extroidinair, but you've probably already heard of me."

"Indeed, I have, I must say, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance." She bows in turn. "I am Immortal Rose."

"Wise words." He smiled. "Though, do pardon me for asking. Do you live here alone? A beautiful woman such as yourself must have a very special someone around."

She shakes her head. "I'm afraid I've lived alone here for quite some time. My studies tend to keep me rather preoccupied."

"I see." He said. "And what sort of things do you study?"

"I study the many creatures that live in this realm. Mythological and legendary alike."

"Ah yes. I grand subject indeed. I do so hope you becareful. I just barely escaped the notice of a rather aggressive dragon while hiking through an area rather close to this one."

She blinks,surprised. "A-A dragon this close to the town? How peculiar!"

"Yes it is. But don't worry about the dragon. He might leave this area, or be reasoned with. There's not much, if any, mineral deposits, and the town itself doesn't seem too large for him to notice or care."

"Ah. I do hope that proves to be the case. A dragon in an unfamiliar area is often more of a danger than one at peace in his surroundings."

"Very much so." He nodded in agreement. He was silent for a moment. "Would you, in any case, like to accompany me on a walk hereabouts. I'm unfamiliar with this area and your help would be appreciated."

"Then it settles it." He stood up. "Let us be off...if you're ready. Or another time if you'd prefer."

"I am well prepared and ready for whenever you are." Smiles, preparing a small satchel of supplies.

He bowed his head. "Before we do part, other then the dragon, is there anything I should know about the area?"

"Hmm... possibly some rogue lycans around the evening hours. Otherwise things have been a little peaceful."

"Okay then. I'll just grab my rifle and we'll be off....Okay, we can skip the gun." He rubbed the back of his neck. "I'm not the best shot anyways."

She smiles. "Very well. I am fully ready for our venture." Slinging the bag over her shoulder, she opens the door.

She smiled and gave a nod of confidence, drawing out her map before starting in a northernly direction.

"I've been wondering." He asked. "You mentioned werewolves live in these parts. Why haven't the authorites taken care of them?"

"I'm afraid most of the local authorities pale at the thought of facing a werewolf, much less an attempted extermination of the threat."

"Understandable, but don't they take into account civilian lives. How many innocents could have been spared death, if those creatures had been dealt with properly. And let's not get into the werewolves infamous curse."
