Description My half of an art trade with ~Pascalou of her character Nathan

Cute, isn't he? There are some shading mistakes (someday I will learn how to properly deal with my lineart) but I kind of like how this turned out. Especially his eyes.

I'm really happy because I'm working my way out of a semi-art funk (I tend to paint a lot when I have those...just a hint).

That is soo awesome. I had to hold back a fangirl squee. Excellent colour choices. As you said there are some shading mistakes and there is no concrete light source. The lineart could be darker and maybe (not sure how you do it) make the points more pointed. Overall it's a great job though and gorgeous.

Thank you. I have a lot of trouble with obscure light sources in my pictures (one of the top priorities on my list of things to fix with my drawings) and I see what you mean about the pointed lines. I'll work on that.

You're welcome. You could always put a circle and some lines coming from it on another layer to help you.

It's no problem. I can't give critique unless I like the piece because if I don't I see too many flaws (yet somehow I can manage to critique on those too but it's a stretch).
