The first in a series of gifts I've been working on for people here on DeviantArt.=Greykitty has been wonderfully supportive of my art since my early days on dA, and her character is a heck of a lot of fun to work with.
I started this quite some time ago, actually, but time constraints, computer problems, etc. kept me from finishing this until now. I've been home sick for the past day or so, which gave me some time to work on art like this. Hopefully my digital coloring has improved.

I must say I really like the style of soft shading you used here as well...especially how it adds the subtle detail to the ears and the eyes

It's good to be doing art again. I never really stopped, but most everything I did over the school year and my break from here was doodling alongside my notes for class.

I think your digital coloring looks very impressive! especially the depth in the eye, and I love how the little hair tuft on the head looks. it looks so soft.
