This one took a while, but here is number three of the requested Pokemon ACEOs from this journal: [link] It's persian, as suggested by *ADeadlyGameOfMagicThe background on this took forever for how simple it is (it was the freaking purple couch thing; I don't have many good purple hues, so there was a lot of frustrating and rather time-consuming color mixing). I do like how it turned out, though. Persian is probably my second favorite Pokemon--I even have one as a main team member in my Soul Silver game. His name is Lucky and he has made me very rich.
And this is signed on the back, in case any of you were curious--I couldn't get my white pen to work and the black just wasn't showing up.
Two more to go! They should both be up sometime this week.

Oh God this is gorgeous. Looks like one of my cats, a pampered spoiled birman who is like 16 years old, she thinks she owns all the furniture in the house and splays over it like this. :3 Absolutely amazing work here. Persian's expression is just ADORABLE, such a content kitty, and the anatomy and pose is perfect <3 The detail in the couch is fantastic too! Definite fav!

I actually sketch a lot of stretching cats, especially when I'm tired. I think it's because I've got so many cats who are more than willing to pose for me at home.

I noticed that the other two I had done for people had clouds like that, so I decided to see if I could fit some into this one as well. I thought it looked pretty neat on the pillow. I was also watching Avatar: the Last Airbender when I was designing the pillows, so the green one is based on the symbol from the Earth King's palace.

Don't you hate it when that happens? I remember being in art class and wanting to scream because my pen/pencil wouldn't behave. Either the tip would break, I'd run out of lead in my pencil or the ink in my pen wouldn't come out. It's even worse when you're in class and your pen runs out of ink in the middle of the lecture!
Oh God, my favorite Pokemon was Pikachu. I have a million Pikachu cards! One would think it would be Cubone since I'm wild about anything that's a canine, but no it was Pikachu which looks like a rabbit!

Yes. I don't often have trouble with my pens, but they were giving me grief over this card. The ink just doesn't like the pencil beneath it, I guess. And I never use pen to take notes--my handwriting tends to get really sloppy when I write fast in pen while it stays fairly neat when I write in pencil--so I've never had the pen-out-of-ink-during-lecture scenario.
My favorite Pokemon is and always has been Eevee. I liked it before its evolutions could do much of anything worthwhile and I have a billion Eevee cards in my collection (my brother has made it his mission to try and get me at least one of every Eevee out there). Pikachu is also very cute, though.

It depends if I use pen or pencil. I write predominantly in cursive and I've always seen my mom write in cursive with a pen. Incidentally, my hands go for pens a lot. I never seem to go sloppy unless my wrist starts to hurt or I'm really tired. Pencils are reserved really for art, math and teachers that lecture all over the board and don't follow the outline they hand out in order (these teachers drive me crazy, by the way).
I had a friend who was an Eevee person. My brother was Bulbasaur and he liked it because I (the elder one) thought it was scary when I was 10/11! It looks like a dinosaur with a giant green garlic bulb growing on its back! I was terrified of dinosaurs as a kid from seeing Jurassic Park on a wide screen tv during a thunderstorm WITH surround sound (you can't blame me, I was 4).

I'm kind of the opposite--I tend to write predominantly in print and I use pencil more often than not. Pens tend to smear terribly on me or dry out at inopportune times.
Oh, but I love Bulbasaur too! He's always been my favorite starter.
