Description My half of a trade with =risha of her dog Reilly.

Have I told you haw much I hate scanners? I like this picture and I thought I had shaded the white enough for detail to show up, but my scanner decided otherwise... -_-

Ah well, such is life. Cute dog, though, don't you think?

Scanners are evil, amen. Esp. Hewlett Packard, they're just the spawn of satan.
Your work continues to elicit an 'awwwww' reaction from me, and even though DevArt has a lot of cute things, this is not fluff. I love the perspective, and the realistic-but-still-stylish look. In particular the nose and tongue are really well done. I'm not really sure exactly what it is about that nose, it's just... perfect, and pokeable. Definately pokeable. Now that I think about it, I think you got the texture smack on with the nose, and the scanner didn't manage to get to that.

And thank you. I love reading your comments. They always manage to put a smile on my face. And the nose was my favorite part to work on. Texture can be so much fun.

Oh my god! This looks just like my uncle's dog! She died when I was seven, but I still remember her because she weighed 20 more pounds than the average beagle. She used to inch around like a slug.

I love obese dogs. My dad's parents used to have this ugly little rat of a dog whose belly dragged on the ground so much that the fur came off. All it did was make her look more like roadkill.

My scanner hates the primary colors worst. It likes to make reds into funny orange-pinks, blues into greens and most of the time it just ignores yellow altogether...stupid machine...
