one quick glimpse and i had to stare
at the perfect nesting of her hair;
though dark and cold in and around,
still signs of warming can be found;
so calm and still, peace from within,
while standing in the whirlwind
of winter's chill that's losing hold,
it's now time to shed the old;
eyes transfixed and looking harder,
i see first glance was just a starter,
a second face has now appeared
and it's looking at me this is so weird,
glowing eyes, a bright face in the night,
making me wonder what's wrong and what's right;
i rub my eyes and the surface face reappears,
this glimpse of spring is the best in years.
excellent job! this picture had me coming back over and over looking at it, i just had to take it all in! like i said before, simply beautiful!

Wow, this is absolutely gorgeous! The face, the hair, the texture, everything. Outstanding work.

Wow, some skill you have there! Great work and not much to critique really... My biggest issue are the eyebrows... not 100% certain why... The right one is considerably larger, but that should not be an issue in itself... but it looks odd to me... Love the lashes, they look so real!
My other issue, which is more personal preference than anything else is the unfinished look of everything but the face... I probably would have said that hair is meant to be like that, its a look, but the body unfinished just looks like its a work in progress...
Apart from those little things: its amazing!

yes, now that you say that, I realize that the eyebrows don't convey that idea of relaxed face, like the rest of her expression should suggest..maybe I will consider retouching that part a bit
The unfinished look actually was done on purpose, because i wanted to give focus on the face and leave the rest blurry and ethereal, maybe i should add more blur to the hair and body.

Nice work. The butterflies above her hair are the best part of this picture. When I first saw the thumbnail, her closed eyes--which initially looked open to me--conveyed anger. Now that I've seen it close up though, I see that's not the case.
I don't feel like the shade of color on her eyes conveys spring to me...perhaps blue would be better suited or possibly the pink you used for the butterflies to link her to them? Just a few thoughts off the top of my head.

I can understand that. When I first saw it in thumbnail size, I thought the eyes looked like demonic ones kinda like the Balrog's from Lord of the Rings. The eyeshadow color confused me in that sense.
It wasn't until I viewed the full image that I noticed they were closed and that there was a peaceful look to her. Just something to consider is all.
