Description
This is probably one of the paintings that took me the longest total time. I sketched it some time in winter last year. I started colouring the characters, and then life happened and I had no time and motivation for painting for a while. And then it was spring and I didn't feel in the mood for a winter picture anymore. So it lay around on my hard drive until some time around Christmas.Actual drawing time should be something between 3 and 5 hours; it was really ridiculous it took so very long to finish it.
Anyway, Team Sonic spending a day having fun in the snow. Hope you like it.

Thanks! Snow can be tough to get right and I'm still practicing.
Well, I've built snowmen with large heads, and it works if you don't want a too large snowman (between a meter and a meter and a half works). Best way to do it is by using parts that are really well compressed as the body, and lighter ones as the head and limbs. Sometimes you're out of luck and the pieces of your snowman will not hold together, though, for example if the snow doesn't stick together well enough or if it's too heavy. Sometimes you can use the trick of putting sticks into the parts you make that help make a connection (giving your snowman 'bones').
