Nick is not worth watching anymore... No good toons and lots of cheesy live-action - iCarly and Victorious were the last things on watched on Nick, I wasn't the least bit interested in watching Sam and Cat...

It's true. The only thing on now worth watching is Miraculous Ladybug.
But all the live action shows are silly with no purpose.. and all the other cartoons are either gross-out to the max type shows for shock factor (Sanjay and Craig??), or feeble attempts at humor. Even the shows that used to be good (read: Spongebob and the Fairy Odd Parents) just have newer seasons that make my skin crawl. Β The Loud House has an acceptable premise and the character's aren't completely bland, but it'd be a stretch to call it a qaulity show.Β

I was telling someone else that I found this article about how El Tigre would make a great live action movie, and Jorge Gutierrez (El Tigre creator) commented on it saying a CGI feature would be really cool too!Β

And yeah, Jorge and his wife are an animation team called Mexopolis Β and they worked on Mucha Lucha and the Buzz on Maggie and then El Tigre started. Jorge did scenes for the Madd tv show and they pitched a new show called Carmen Got Expelled but it sadly hasn't been picked up by a station.. and then the Book of Life came out.Β
There's a little El Tigre easter egg in The Book of Life where you can see Manny, Frida, and Manny's grandpapi Β (he's not circled, but you can see him on the left side, on the sidewalk).
Actaully, El Tigre and The Book of Life are in the same universe. One of the villians in El Tigre, Sartana Β is actually the canon daughter of La Muerte and Xibalba. Β
