aye look, a contest entry that is on time! this is for RiverSpirit456 s contest <3

anyways, I crated a new species! There will be more info and a better ref coming soon, I just have to get this submitted ^^

Species name: Kimare (KUH-MAR)

Average life-span: around 5,000 human years, but can live up to 10,000, depending on the strength of connection with the universe.

Appearance:

Kimare are tall, dark figures with very long arms and long claw-like fingers. The have no nose, mouth, hair, or genital. There legs are similar to that of a common animal’s, with sharp, almost talon like toes. They have large, glowing eyes, and string-like organs on either side of the head (similar placement to the ear) with sensitive skins at the ends. They have abnormally skinny necks, connected to a broad shoulder frame.

They also have strange glowing markings along the arms, chest, and face, and some nearly invisible specks floating around them

Species info:

The Kimare are an energy based species, meaning they live off of the energy of the universe, and can harness it. They can create basic shields, attacks, healing spells, and can take an energetic form. They prefer only to use these ‘powers’ in self defense, or times of necessity, as it takes a lot of power and they are not a violent species. They communicate through the organs on the top of their heads, which transmit the message they are trying to communicate with another of the species. they can communicate from much further distances than humans can. Their range of speech with other species is limited, but they can communicate emotions with all species that have a brain.

the Kimare have three different soul types: soul, light, and space, the three basic elements of the universe(In my opinion xD).

These soul types have different colored auras, and different markings on their chest. The soul types do not separate the species in any way, it simply defines how they gather energy.

The soul based Kimare have auras on the purple spectrum, and collect and share energy from other beings around them. Light based Kimare have orange spectrum auras, and gain energy from light,. Space based Kimare have green spectrum auras, and gather energy from matter.

The Kimare can feel all emotions, but they are not as vivid as other species, also making them more practical than most.

They do not need any source of food, as they feed off of energy.

Anatomy:

their basic bone and muscle structure is very similar to that of a human’s, with several (obvious)differences, although their organs are very different. They do have a heart, blood veins, and a nervous system.

The white dot in the center-point of their chest is extremely important, as it is the receiver and transmitter of all energy the travels through their bodies. As they get older, or if they are sick, this glow around the dot will start to fade, showing a weaker and weaker connection with the universe.

As I said earlier, They do not have any reproductive organs, and instead will create a new being at the high peak of energy in their life (around 2500 years). this also means they do not have genders.

Planet:

The species actually originated on a moon which they refer to as Shunama (SHU- NA-MAE), but since then has colonized the rest of the uninhabited planets in the solar system. Shunama is a moon about the size of mercury, orbiting a large gas planet. The moon is covered in mostly forest, and some small oceans, with the acceptation of the poles. some Kimare leave the solar system, either on an exploration mission, or on a quest they call Natseta (NAH-SATE-AH), the quest to find ones self. Not all Kimare park take in the Natseta.

Garments:

Although The Kimare can tell eachother apart telepathically, they sometimes like to wear garments to stand out visually as well.

Common pieces of jewelry include: Headbands, shoulder plates, ankle bracelets, bracelets, and occasionally neck chokers. These are usually made of preserved natural materials, in reminder of their home planet.

Fun fact: I got the inspiration for these from endermen, from Mincraft xD
