Description
This is what our little only boy of the brood looks like as he and his sisters began to take flight. Their markings are beginning to fade (moreso on Ruffrunner, male fury markings are fainter than females)
During the fledgling stage the nightingale brood stray from the nest and discover their wings and tails can now lift them into flight, somewhat. During this period the siblings focus moreso on establishing their fire breathing abilities and gaining the strength to fly rather than the petty cub squabbling for morsels of their parents regurgitated assortments. Toothless and Tidechaser tend to them less often, due to them being bigger and independent than what they were before, but they are still unable to hunt entirely for themselves. The nightingales will prepare leave the nests at age 3 and the Tideless couple will hatch a new brood in the spring in the same location they had their first brood.
