Nirmala’s design I changed the most because it bothers me a lot. All those stripes and weird spots just don’t seem to be a plausible look for a lion to have in the Lion King. She is also apparently not related to any other members in the Night Pride which leads literally everyone to believe that she is indeed Surak’s mate. I also agree with this theory because c’mon, what random lioness is allowed to hang about the Royal family? So I changed her head stripe, gave her no ear rims, and gave her a reddish pelt (similar to Scar’s I guess) and decided to give her a light nose gradient similar to Mufasa’s.(Previous: fav.me/ddh7w3e )

I think her Lion Guard design looks a bit much myself. I love your design. Is it okay to take inspiration from your design for my own version and I'll credit you? My idea for Nirmala is that's she's the kid sister of Zira and the older sister of Tojo and aunt of Zuri. I wanted to draw her in an argument with Zira with Tojo looking nervous.
In my head cannon, Tojo is the father of Zuri.

Yes I really like this~ I actually loved her design but it was too busy for TLK characters. I was going to just remove the upper part completely but a head stripe could really work too

I'm happy to see more lionesses with the headstripe and, even if it can be irritably distracting, I do have a fondness for the freckle/dot look. I really like Nirmala, a pity we didn't get more scenes of her in the series.
