Hi there. I'm a huge fan of Kyle's. (I've even met him.) I was just doing a Google search and came across your drawing.
I'm an artist/illustrator/graphic designer of 17 years myself and I had to comment. I've seen quite a bit of Blood Ties/Kyle fan art done and this stands out to me heads and tails above everything else I've seen. GREAT JOB!!!

I just got done rewatching The Covenant and Kyle Schmidis totally awesome in that movie. He totally should have gotten a better role. Can't wait for Bloodties to come back so that we can see more of Kyle as a very sexy vampire!

Vampires are hot in general but Kyle Shmid DEFINITELY is a hottie vampire. I also saw him in an episode of CSI Miami. Hes cute. I did this as a gift for someone, technically.

Why in heavens name you don't make a career of your pencil skills i'll never know...make money on the side by doing portraits for people...you have the talent..

Oh well I applied at the art gallery, sent them my resume/cover letter, but the girl whos position Id be taking over is still working there for a while. I think Im more than qualified since Ive spent the last 5 years maintaining my web comic site using html. They may be looking for someone who has 'real world' experience in an office updating websites. I would be the assistant to the curator/webmaster for the gallery. I want this job sooo bad!! It wouldnt be just a job, I know I'd love it since I have passion for art. From what the girl working there now tells me, they are really good to work for. I actually recieved 35$ for this drawing from a reader of my web comic, but portrait work could only be a side job for me.

Manually. Mind you, I have used a web page editor, granted it was Geocities.

Really? I figured Diaryland would provide some kind of an automated system for updating your comics.
Anyways, if you're familiar and/or comfortable with coding, (and don't mind setting up & configuring server software in your PC) you might want to dabble in the wonderful world of CMS (Content Management System), with free packages like Joomla or Drupal. As far as websites development & maintenance go, they seem to be gaining popularity.
Plus your background as an artist would help.

Well its like entering a diary entry here except HERE, some html tags seem to be disabled. Like I dont think I could hotlink a picture in this message, but I could in my journal. Learning website maintenance be it html or a website builder is just fairly easy for me.

Ah yeah I hear you, I've been getting together a resume for, hold on to your hat, a library clerk. My local library is expanding and they're going to need another clerk, have advertised for one and that would be one of my dreams...odd huh...but I love to read and love the library so why not do a job you love right? Good luck to you and keep drawing, can't hurt in the interim.
