I love black and white pictures, it's cool to see how people make awesome pictures with just two colors. The hair is awesome, so is the background...thing, although I have no clue what it is. It's looks nice there though.

Well, yeah, sometimes permanent marker gets blurry around the edges. That's why I only use it to fill in large areas of black, I don't often use it for the line art. That's what microns are for!

Oh, they are a brand of pen that is really popular among manga artists. The company Staedler has a similar style of pen and I actually prefer this brand. They write very crisp, non-bleeding lines. And they're waterproof, so I use them on my paintings all the time.
