A Shocking Experience indeed!Pencils by the greatest Spider-man artist since Bagley... SpiderGuile ([link] ).
Inks by the manic hands of LordoftheBling-XXL ([link] ).
Colours by myself,2099!
Well... This was originally shown to me by Chatueadesable as he was intending to ink it up and i'd get to throw on some colours. Due to commitments he passed the torch to LordoftheBling, and it was nothing like I expected! I usually stick to clean, blocky inks.... but this was awesome! I have to say the inks pretty much set up the lighting for the piece which was obviously going to be the focal point! I just had to pick a colour scheme.
I spent a long time on this... around 8 hours give or take for distractions, played with a lot of experimentations, threw out alot of failed layers! There were alot of layers, more than usual!! (I fear i'm regressing a little :/ ....!)
Hope you all like it, tell me what you think, as usual i'm spotting loads of things i'd like to correct... I wont, as itsdone, but just for the next time.
Oh, and I found that painting over the linework feels really naughty... but fulfilling! Odd

Looks amazing, Shocker is one of the best visually appealing enemies for Spider-Man to fight. Goblin has his bombs sure, but the guy looks too much like an elf. The Scorpion is just too clown-looking. Shocker really looks more like an appropriate foe to match Spider-Man. The fact that he could easily be called Scorpion doesn't hurt either.
One thing, I thought Shocker vibrated air, not shot electricity? I've always been a little confused about his powers because you always see lightning along his gauntlets when he supposedly doesn't actually shoot lightning, but Shockwaves, hence Shocker. Avalanche doesn't seem to have the same misconception of his powers.

Thanks dude, and yeah I've always been confused about the visual side of Shockers powers... Maybe its some form of static as a side effect of the air manipualtion. I saw the electricity cables in this and just thought it would be a great idea to have some form of backlash from his powers, amped up by the electricity maybe!
I always liked the 'totem' element of Spidey, that stray away from the science side was welcome and cleared up alot of the villians as being totemic... I found that added real depth as it bought me to scan back through old stuff and read into it completely differently. I always saw the animal traits that went with all his villians (Octopus, Vulture, Rhino, Tarantula etc etc) but we could only guess at the links really! Shocker is very much a real world villian to me, I alwasy felt he slipped out of a Punisher storyline haha... But his costume is one of the coolest out there, that quilting always looks rad

mhmm you said it. sinester six would be so awsome. electro is one of my favourite. that costume he's wearing is so cool. let's hope they get the next movie right. otherwise they should reboost with new cast and directors. avengers are coming soon and after that they have to do civil war.

Planet Hulk!!!!! I'd love to see something with Thanos in myself, he's an all time fave of mine. Electro always was an OG Spidey villian for me, too cool.

YEAH! Louis Letterier, the new hulkdirector, wanted to direct that movie. Would be cool to see Ghost Rider take on Hulk.
