I had loads of fun with this and it was actually quicker than I expected... I must be taking something in at last haha! Just over an hour after flats

First, good work, but I was wondering about the comic gain is that a pattern brush someone made for photoshop? It's a nice effect.

Oh thats just a old, worn paper texture set to overlay and tweaked a bit with opacity, levels and saturation. I dont really like the shiny look of my work so I try and dull it down

Looks great! And great choice of lineart ^^ I love Rantz' style, he really manages to make every character recognizable while maintaining his own lines.

it's called halftone? :D I'll try to find it, might use that for later works

Halftone is a tool in PS. Under filters>pixelate>colour halftone. Set all angles to the same for the dots (45/45/45/45), otherwise you get traditional CMYK breakup as seen in alot of newspaper prints. Have a play, its very fun

Ooh, the shiney! That's a very pretty shine there, sir! And the pseudo-screentone shading works really well too - is that just a layer mask, aye? Very effective. Only thing I'm not sure works it the blades. they kinda want to be a bit more solid & 3D, and they drop into the bg too easily as they are.
Other than that tho, absolutely sterling work chief! You're gonna be working for the big guns in no time, you annoyingly talented bugger!
