This equipment was built to empower Atreides assault forces due to House's care of their soldiers (unlike the House Ordos expandable clones/ghola stuff or hypnotized junkie soldiers in Harkonnen's army which is not so important for their Houses).

You're definitely making me want to actually read the "Prelude to Dune" series with this stuff. How much are you envisioning canonical hardware and how much are you just making it up for the fun of it?

You know, i just needed a theme for a project to show here (some restrictions for the designs; not to be a blue sky pictures). Since i like the Dune universe including books and games it was an obvious choice.
Speaking of canonical and my own fictional stuff. I based my designs mostly on the Westwood games universe and on the Dune encyclopedia (so, i believe in House Ordos 
SO, i'm making design for some kind of an imaginary game, which i would like to play. And some can call this a fan art.
I hope that make any sense.
